PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive which has superior vibration resistance. SOLUTION: The disk drive is equipped with a cartridge holder 3 which holds a disk cartridge 6 detachably and opening and closing arms 4 and 5 which open and close a shutter 11 that the disk cartridge 6 has, and the cartridge holder 3 is provided with a shutter holding member 52 which holds the shutter 11 opened up to its fully-open position by the opening and closing arms 4 and 5.
