PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matters, dust, etc., from entering a cartridge main body from a center core hole. SOLUTION: An FD cartridge 4 (disk cartridge) is constituted, so that a magnetic sheet 5 (disk-like recording medium) fitted with a center core 6 at the center part is supported rotatably in a cartridge main body 11, and the center core is composed of a media core part 38 fitted in the center hole 5a of the magnetic sheet, a flange part 39 where the lower peripheral edge of the media core part is formed projecting outwardly, and a chucking part 40 projected from the reverse surface of the flange part. The cartridge main body has a center core hole 9a, in which the chucking part of the center core is loosely fitted and an outside diameter (x) of the flange part, an inside diameter (y) of the center core hole, and the outside diameter (z) of the chucking part are set so related that (x-z)/2>y-z.
