PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard whose keys are not easily pressed down when not used in electronic equipment with the upper part of the keyboard opened. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment provided with the keyboard consisting of a plurality of keys, is provided with a rubber leg 5' being a mounting detecting means and a key unit 6 consisting of a plurality of key tops 8, key rubber 9 and a circuit board 10. When a main body 3 is mounted on a desk, the leg 5' is pushed into the body 3 and the unit 6 is positioned so as to project the key tops 8 from the body 3. When the body 3 is separated from the desk, the leg 5' falls down and the unit 6 also falls down so as to bury the key tops 8 in the body 3.
