<p>A master information carrier (2) that is made of a ferromagnetic thin film having a shape corresponding to an information signal and has an arrangement pattern is placed on a magnetic recording medium (1). The arrangement pattern of the ferromagnetic thin film is magnetized by a magnetizing head (6), and the arrangement pattern is transferred and recorded as a magnetization pattern on the magnetic recording medium. The magnetizing head has an annular magnetic circuit having a gap. The intensity of the magnetic field applied to the master information carrier by the magnetic flux leaking from the portion other than the gap part is 20% or less of that by the magnetic flux leaking from the gap part. The quality degradation due to conditions of recording is avoided, and uniform recording with less variation depending on the position on the magnetic recording medium is realized.</p> |
