<p>A method is provided for quickly completing a number of print jobs directed to one printer. A load distributor (80) monitors the job state in a buffer (55) and the error state of a print mechanism (51) for three printers (50, 60, 70) of those connected by a computer network. When print jobs are directed to only a single printer (for example, the printer (50)) or the printer are in error, the load distributor (80) retrieves at least one of the print jobs spooled in a buffer (55) of the printer (50) and transfers the print job to another printer (60 or 70).</p> |
