PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect steam humidifier provided with a heat exchanger easy to remove scale adhering on the surface of it. SOLUTION: An indirect steam humidifier A, provided with a heating tank 1 in which water for vaporizing is stored and a heat exchanger 4 with the heating source of steam, can heat the water in the heating tank to vaporize and discharge the generated steam, wherein the heat exchanger 4 is formed with a cylindrical heat exchanger tube 40, the thick surrounding wall of the heat exchanger tube 40 is formed hollow as a steam flow path R and each of parts near both the ends of the heat exchanger tube 40 is arranged with the connecting holes 41 and 42 communicating with the steam flow path R.
