METHOD FOR PEELING HYDROPHILIC COLLOIDAL LAYER, METHOD FOR MAKING PRINTING PLATE AND DEVELOPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling means by which a hydrophilic colloidal layer such as a gelatin-silver halide emulsion layer can be uniformly and thoroughly peeled in a short time and to provide a method by which an aluminum planographic printing plate excellent in printing characteristics is stably made at a low cost without using washing water or causing environmental problem because a waste developing solution can be substantially reduced to zero. SOLUTION: A material having such absorption that the amount of a liquid absorbed in the material after the lapse of 0.1 sec after contact with the liquid is >=60% of that after the lapse of 0.2 sec is used as a means of peeling a hydrophilic colloidal layer. A material which absorbs >=10 ml/m2 liquid after the lapse of 0.1 sec after contact with the liquid may be used.
