The invention concerns a method for mounting a glass panel in a housing corresponding to a rigid frame, which comprises temporary elastic deformation of the glass panel to achieve dimensions compatible with those of the housing wherein it is to be inserted; positioning in the housing; and slackening the forces causing the glass panel to be deformed, slackening which enables the glass panel to recover its initial shape. The inventive mounting method is useful in particular for inserting a U-shaped glass panel, which cannot be mounted by standard methods. |
