The invention concerns a device for maintaining oneself on the water surface in a suitable position for moving and gliding on the waves when practising body surfing. The invention concerns a device for practising bodysurfing without any risk of injury with the equipment while increasing the speed and fun derived from practising sport. It consists of a combination with a semirigid and elastic planar surface (1) fixed around the body with straps (2) provided with safety catches (3) which enables to glide on a surf in an ideal position. The inventive device is easy to store and handle, thereby making it more accessible to a wider public while increasing the sensations experienced.
