PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positioning accuracy of a sub-unit for image forming with respect to a main body frame by a simple constitution and also to surely suppress the occurrence of color slippage by the simple constitution even though the sub-unit for image forming is constituted of a CRU which is exchangeable by a user specially in the case that an object is a tandem type image forming device. SOLUTION: Relating to the image forming device in which the sub-unit 2 for image forming is positioned and attached at/to the main body frame 1, a positioning part 3 by which the sub-unit 2 is positioned and supported is integrally formed into the main body frame 1. Also, relating to the image forming device in which plural sub-nits 2 consisting of an image carrier unit 2 (1) including an image carrier are positioned and attached to the main body frame 1, plural positioning parts 3 (concretely 3 (1)) by which the plural sub-units 2 consisting of the image carrier unit 2 (1) are positioned and supported are integrally formed into the main body frame 1.
