PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flare light by the internal reflection of a light source device. SOLUTION: A laser beam L generated from a semiconductor laser 10 passes through the lens barrel part 21 of a light source holder 20 and is converged to a specified beam diameter by a diaphragm plate 22. In order to cut by the plate 22 primary reflected light due to the internal reflection inside the lens barrel part 21, the surface within the range of lengthΔx between the 1st position X1 and the 2nd position X2 of the lens barrel part 21 is made rough. The 1st and the 2nd positions X1 and X2 are obtained by a numerical expression from the aperture diameter d1 of the plate 22, the hole diameter d2 of the lens barrel part 21 and a distance (m) between the light emitting point of the laser 10 and the plate 22.
