PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of speech interruption and waste of the power consumption. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is provided with a storage section 17 that stores a plurality of sets of reference voltage information that is used to control a transmission output of the mobile phone within a specified range of a transmission output level designated by a base station, with a discrimination section 12 that discriminates a level of reception electric field strength at the base station by using a discrimination value stored in a storage section 11, and with a transmission output designation section 13 that extracts one reference voltage information among a plurality of sets of the reference voltage information on the basis of the discrimination by the discrimination section 12. The mobile phone amplifies a transmission signal at an amplification factor on the basis of the extracted reference voltage information and transmits the transmission signal to the base station.
