PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a decline in strength of mold in effort to prevent fitting of terminal from exposing. SOLUTION: Only a portion of an end opposed to an entry 14 of a retainer 20 in a retainer-fitting cavity 13 is opened to form a die-cutting hole 15, the remainder portion closed as a wall 16. By the wall 16, a terminal fitting 19 can be disposed in a housing 10 with less exposure. When a connector C is molded, the first mold 30, which is drawn outside of the housing 10 from the entry 14, and the second mold 40, which is drawn from the die-cutting hole 15, are coupled together so as each leading end to overlap with the other crossing a die-cutting direction which can prevent strength of the molds 30, 40 from declining.
