PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal fittings, which have high conduction reliability after stacked on each other. SOLUTION: The terminal fittings 1 have a hollow engaging portion 4 formed at their upper surface. Also, at the lower surface of the terminal fittings 1 are suspended a pair of right and left engaging legs 7 in such a manner that they are opposite to each other in front and rear directions. An outwardly bent portion 7A is formed at the top of the engaging leg 7. Where a pair of the upper and lower terminal fittings 1U and 1L are set to an initial position, both engaging legs 7 of the terminal fitting 1U are placed in the holes of the engaging portions 4 in the terminal fittings 1L, thereby entering the grooves 6. Where the terminal fittings 1U and 1L are slid from the initial position in a direction of an axial line S to be approached to each other, they are aligned so that the terminal fittings 1 are maintained at a fixed state in upward and downward directions.
