PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can adjust the inclination of optical axis of a pickup that is set to a disk in a wide area and with no obstacle of the disk. SOLUTION: This disk device has a spindle motor 3 which drives a turntable 2 where a disk 19 is mounted, a pickup drive mechanism which moves a pickup 4 in the diameter direction of the disk 19 to transfer the information signals to the disk 19, a chassis main body 1a, a lateral flange 1c which crosses the main body 1a, a chassis 1 where the motor 3 and the pickup drive mechanism are mounted on the main body 1a and an inclination adjustment mechanism which is placed between the flange 1c and the pickup drive mechanism and varies the inclination of optical axis of the pickup 4 to the disk 19 at the side of the flange 1c.
