<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen of a portable terminal main body provided a touch panel type handwriting input function that can be long when used and can be short when it is not used. SOLUTION: This pen is provided with a cylindrical pen case part 1 provided with a shape having a cam function on the inner wall, a pen sliding part 4 provided with a pen point shape, a rotating cam 5 provided with a cam pawl and a spring 6 energizing the rotating cam in an axial direction. When the input pen is reduced, the cam pawl is engaged with the shape having the cam function on the inner wall to prevent the movement of the rotating cam toward the pen sliding part, and when the input pen is extended, the cam pawl is disengaged from the shape having the cam function on the inner wall, the energization force of the spring acts the pen sliding part through the rotating cam and the pen sliding part is projected from the pen case part. When the input pen is used, the input pen can be long and is easy to be used, and when the input pen is not used, the input pen can be short enough to minimize the space where the input pen is housed in the portable terminal main body. Thus, the portable terminal main body part can be made small and light in weight.</p> |
