PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autotensioner which can tell the timing of replacing a belt. SOLUTION: The belt end part of the metal ring 16a of an oil seal 16 which blocks the upper opening of a cylinder 11 is exposed. To a bush rod 20, a guide flange 24 slidable along the inner bore surface of the cylinder 11 is installed. And the exchanging timing of the belt is informed by detecting the limit position of the advance stroke of the bush rod 20, by the contact of the guide flange 24 and the metal ring 16a. |
