PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten waiting time until printing operation start in a printer by which an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of a photoreceptor, and it is visualized as a toner image, and the toner image is transferred to a recording sheet, and the recording sheet is passed between a fixing roller and a pressure roller and then the toner image is fixed on the recording sheet by the actions of heat and pressure and the picture element density of the electrostatic latent image is changed by switching the surface linear velocity of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The specification signal of the picture element density is sent to a main controlling part 23 by a controller 24 before sending a picture data to the main controlling part 23, so that the main controlling part 23 controls the temperature of the fixing roller so as to set it at a target temperature. |
