<p>A gas accumulator (110) is provided for attachment to a gun (10) having a gun body (12), a compressed gas chamber (38) in the gun body (12), and a compressed gas power source (28). The accumulator (110) comprises a body portion (112) defining a gas accumulator chamber and connector means (114) for connecting the accumulator (110) releasably to the gun body (12) so that the gas chamber (38) in the gun body (12) is in communication with the accumulator chamber (112). Compression means (132) are provided in the accumulator chamber (112) which is compressed when the accumulator chamber (112) receives gas under pressure, the compression means (132) forcing gas from the accumulator chamber (112) into the gas chamber (38) when the gun is fired.</p> |
