PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile radio terminal equipment which can be set immediately to an inside-service zone state, when the equipment moves from the outside of a service zone into a service zone. SOLUTION: Mobile radio terminal equipment, which is digitally connected to a radio base station by radio makes searching operation at prescribed intervals (for example, 30-second intervals), while the equipment makes outside- zone operation, and when arbitrary prescribed operation, for example, pressing- down operation of the search switch of an operation section 6 is performed while an outside-zone display is turned on in a displaying section 7, the terminal equipment immediately starts searching operation under the control of a control section 1. When the equipment receives a radio wave from the radio base station after the equipment starts the searching operation, the equipment can be set immediately to an inside-zone state and an inside-zone display is turned on in the displaying section 7. Accordingly, the user of the equipment can immediately recognize that the equipment is in the service zone of the base station. |
