The invention relates to a container for the hygienic preparation and cooking of eggs, particularly in microwave devices, comprising a bottom section (29) made from a heat -retaining material, an insert (27) made from aluminium and a top section (20), which can be detachably assembled together, whereby the walls are, at least partially, microwave-transparent. The bottom section (24), which may be used as an egg-cup, comprises a flat support surface (24''), at the upper edge, a circular groove (20') and on the inside (32), steps (25, 26) for the insert (27). The insert (27) has openings (28) in the base (27') thereof, in the upper region (27'), an edge (29) with collars (30) and is formed in such a way that it may be inserted in both steps (25, 26). The top section (20) comprises an aluminium sheet (21), with holes (22) on the inside, a free space (23) and, on the base thereof a circular groove (20') for inserting the bottom section (24). |
