PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nozzle tip water mixing liquid burner in which misfiring and incomplete combustion are prevented. SOLUTION: The nozzle tip water mixing liquid burner comprises a gun type oil burner 2 where fuel oil and water are mixed at the tip of a nozzle 1 and just mixed water and fuel are sprayed and burnt, a pump 3 for supplying water to the burner, a valve 4 for controlling water supply to the burner, a pump 5 for supplying fuel oil to the burner, a valve 6 for controlling fuel oil supply to the burner, and a flame detector 8 for the burner. The burner is coupled with auxiliary units and the water supply control valve 4 is opened only when signals indicative that the fuel supply pump 5 is operated, the fuel supply control valve 6 is opened and presence of flame is detected by the flame detector 8 are delivered otherwise the water supply control valve is closed.
