PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for discharging slag from a combustion melting furnace, wherein slag can be stably discharged from a slag nozzle to the outside of the furnace to ensure a long service life of the nozzle. SOLUTION: In a combustion melting furnace 1, a slag nozzle 3 having a slag discharging hole 31 for discharging slag to the outside of the furnace, the slag nozzle 3 is made of a conductive refractory, and the nozzle 3 itself comes to heat-generate by an induction current generated by induction heating coil 4 provided around the nozzle 3. A slag-discharge amount per unit hour is controlled by controlling the temperature of the slag nozzle 3 by increasing/ decreasing an output to the induction heating coil 4, and, as required, the discharge is intermittently conducted. The slag nozzle 3 is made of a conductive refractory containing 75-90% of silicon carbide, 5-20% of graphite. The lower peripheral part of the slag discharge hole 31 constitutes a heat radiation surface.
