PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk device and a personal computer, with which a hard disk drive itself can be attached/detached to/from the case of a hard disk and exchanged. SOLUTION: Concerning this hard disk device, a power source connector 12 and a signal connector 13 are attached at positions, where the upper surface of a case 11 can be opened, matched with the connector of a hard disk drive on the case 11, the inside part of the case 11 becomes a guide at attaching/ detaching of the hard disk drive and the connector of the hard disk drive is inserted/ejected directly to/from the power source connector 12 and the signal connector 13, so that the hard disk drive can be attached/detached to/from the case 11. Then, by attaching the power source connector 12 and the signal connector 13 to the case 11 with a screw 14 with a knob, that attaching position can be adjusted immediately, corresponding to the real hard disk drive.
