PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oblique projection lens which continuously and satisfactorily corrects a trapezoidal distortion, which is caused by projection in an oblique direction, in accordance with the angle of inclination of a projecting device even in the case of a larger angle of oblique projection. SOLUTION: The oblique projection lens for the projecting device which projects a projection image original picture on a screen in an oblique direction is composed of a moving lens group, which is moved between a stop and the reduction side in a direction different from the direction of the optical axis to continuously correct the transpezoidal distortion caused by projection in the oblique direction, or is provided with an optical system provided with a free-form surface lens which has at least one face including a free-form surface on the enlargement image surface side viewed from the moving lens group.
