PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of automatically forming the movement of each polygon by a procedural method, such as the change of a function and parameter for controlling the whole device and capable of forming a dynamic image having an afterimage effect. SOLUTION: The parameters of a polygon size, the number of polygons, the number of plotting frames, an image compositing ratio, etc., to be generated are inputted (step S1). The polygons are generated based on the inputted parameters (step S2). Based on the hue information which the generated polygons have, a color is given to each pixel to plot an initial image (step S3). Next, the respective vertexes of the polygons generated at the step S2 are moved by a coordinate transforming function set in advance to generate a new polygon (step S4). Continually, an image is formed based on the chrominance information which the new polygon has, and this image and already plotted image are composed and plotted, based on a set image composing ratio (step S5). Processing at the step S4 and the step S5 is repeated by the set number of the frames.
