<p>The invention is in the field of construction material manufacturing technology and should be used in making thin-walled cement construction materials, primarily in the production of non-asbestos slate and non-asbestos pipes. The purpose of the invention is to create a new composition with the help of which the manufacturing technology of asbestos cement products would be applied to manufacturing of non-asbestos cement items, where asbestos is replaced by another material, non-toxic to humans and the environment, or a mixture of materials with reinforcing features. The objective is achieved when stone wool or stone wool waste (formaldehyde resin mix) is used as the reinforcing material. The material composition in mass % is as follows: cement (Portland cement) 70-92, reinforcing material (stone wool or its waste) 7-29, and binder (calcium silicate or silicium dioxide) 1-10 and plastifying material (cellulose, glass fibre or other kind of fibre) up to 7% of total weight. Products made using this composition do not have any toxic effect on human health or the environment, retain high constructional physical-mechanical properties, are aesthetically pleasing, non-flammable, weather-resistant as well as economical.</p> |
