<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that does not cause the hot water in a hot water storage tank to run out by detecting the abnormal closure in the case where the abnormal closure is caused to a shutoff valve for supplying/stopping mixed water. SOLUTION: In the case when a hot water flow amount sensor detects water flow (Step S3) at the time when a first and second solenoid valves are closed (Steps S1 and S2), the abnormal closure of the solenoid valves is determined (Step S5), and a hot water mixture ratio regulating valve is controlled to be driven to the full-close position in a hot water side (Step S6). As a result, the leakage of high-temperature water can be minimized, and the hot water in a hot water storage tank can be prevented from running out.</p> |
