STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that can use the hot water in a hot water storage tank without causing hot water to run out even in the case when a defective closure is caused to a shutoff valve for supplying/stopping mixed water. SOLUTION: In the case when a hot water flow amount sensor (Step S7) and a hot water temperature sensor (Step S12) detect the defective closure of a shutoff valve (Step S9) at the time when a hot water shutoff valve is closed (Step S6), a hot water mixture ratio regulating valve is controlled to be driven to a full-close position in a hot water side (Step S10), so the leakage of high-temperature water can be minimized so as to prevent the hot water in a hot water storage tank from running out.
