<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic color toner showing excellent transparency and color reproducibility, high coloring degree, proper gloss, good fixing property and enough offset resistance and adaptable for a fixing device using no oil in a fixing member even when the color toner contains a release agent, and to provide a method of producing that toner. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic color toner consisting of at least a binder resin, a release agent insoluble with that binder resin, and a coloring agent, a composition prepared by preliminarily kneading the binder resin and the coloring agent with an organic solvent at a lower temperature than the melting temperature of the binder resin is used. The composition is used in the method of producing the toner.</p> |
