<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose human body detector, which can periodically verify that a sensor has a human body detection capability and which can generate a noticeable signal change to an output terminal, also when an object having only a slight electrostatic capacity such as a human body or the like enters so as to ensure the above matter. SOLUTION: This human body detector is composed of an electrostatic capacity sensor 1 of a first and a second opposite electrodes, an inductance element 2 connected in series with the sensor 1, a resistor 3, a frequency oscillator 4 and output terminals set to both ends of the resistor 3. A series resonance circuit is formed of the sensor 1, the inductance element 2 and the resistor 3. A noticeable signal change can be generated to the output terminals also, when an object such as human body or the like which has only a very slight electrostatic capacity enters.</p> |
