PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste photographic processing liquid treating device which divides the concentrating process of a waste photographic processing liquid to two steps and can recover the waste photographic processing liquid as a solid free of concentration unevenness, and to provide the waste photographic processing liquid treating device which divides the concentrating process of the waste photographic processing liquid to three steps and solidifies a small volume of the waste liquid of about 1 to 20 liters/day suitable for a mini- laboratory, etc. SOLUTION: The waste photographic processing liquid is evaporated and concentrated to the concentrated waste photographic processing liquid decreased in its volume to <=1/3 within a range where its flow property is not lost. The waste photographic processing liquid is then diffused in a laminated form of <=5 mm in thickness and is further evaporated and concentrated to slid. After the waste photographic processing liquid is evaporated and concentrated to the concentrated waste photographic processing liquid, the waste liquid is evaporated and concentrated to the concentrated waste photographic processing liquid exhibiting a slurry-like form and is further concentrated and solidified to solid not containing liquid-components.
