PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically controlled mechanical watch in which the torque transmission efficiency of a wheel train is enhanced and in which a pointer can be moved more precisely. SOLUTION: A solid lubricating treatment is executed to wheels 2 to 6 in a wheel train 7. As a result, in places in which the wheels 2 to 6 are engaged in the wheel train 7, a loss of energy due to friction or the like can be suppressed, and the torque transmission efficiency of the wheel train 7 can be enhanced. Consequently, even when a load is generated a little in the wheels 2 to 6 it is possible to prevent the operation of a pointer from being stopped, and a generator 20 can be driven surely. Since the wheel train 7 is turned smoothly so as to improve its change rate, the constant-speed rotation of a rotor 21 is controlled smoothly, and the display accuracy of a second hand can be enhanced. Thereby, the pointer of this watch can be moved more precisely.
