<p>Compounds and lubricant compositions are disclosed that comprise a substituted linear thiourea of structure (I) wherein R1, R2, and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkaryl, aralkyl, and hydrogen; R3 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, and combinations thereof; X is selected from the group consisting of (i) methylene, if, and only if, R3 is alkylene, (ii) oxygen, and (iii) sulfur; and A is selected from the group consisting of alkylene and aryl.</p> |
