PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure connector, which can prevent bending of a housing caused by insertion of wires and does not cause defective assembling of a cover. SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is method of pressure conncting a wire to a pressure connector having a covered wire 40 inserted between a pair of pressure blades 37 on both sides. Both sidewalls 24 of a terminal-receiving groove 23 are formed of a slanted wall such that an interval between both sidewalls 24 becomes larger as it goes up from the bottom to the top. A gap S is provided between the sidewall 24 of the terminal-receiving portion 23 and the side plate 31 of the pressure terminal 22. In the gap S is inserted a guide 39b serving to prevent the side plate 31 from falling down when the covered wire 40 is inserted between the pressure blades 37. In this state, the covered wire 40 is inserted between the pressure blades 37 with a pressure jig 39.
