PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a terminal to select adoption and rejection of received data, according to the remaining amount of resources in the terminal. SOLUTION: A communication system distributes data to terminals 5 from servers 1 and 2 which work as information distributing devices. Each terminal 5 detects remaining capacities of resources, such as the battery, memory, etc., incorporated in its own device and an external storage device, etc., and requests the servers 1 and 2 to transmit data corresponding to the detected remaining capacities. For example, the terminal 5 informs the servers 1 and 2 of the degrees of priority of the data corresponding to the remaining capacities of the resources. The servers 1 and 2 only transmit the data meeting the requirements of the terminals 5, for example, only the data relevant for the degrees of priority informed from the terminals 5. Therefore, the terminals 5 can only acquire the data having high degrees of priority from the servers 1 and 2.
