摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a lithium-manganese composite oxide of a layered rock salt structure having a uniform composition and a high crystallinity and exhibiting a good cycle characteristic, in an inexpensive and simple manner. SOLUTION: A method of producing a lithium-manganese composite oxide according to the invention includes mixing an aqueous manganic salt solution consisting of a salt having Mn as a cation dissolved in water, an aqueous Me salt solution consisting of a salt having a metal element Me (Me is at least one selected from Al and Fe) as a cation dissolved in water, and an aqueous lithium hydroxide solution consisting of LiOH dissolved in an aqueous H2O2 solution, thereby forming a mixed solution; depositing a composite oxide precursor of the mixed solution; and then aging the composite oxide precursor in the mixed solution at a temperature of 50 deg.C to 110 deg.C, thereby obtaining a lithium-manganese composite oxide of a layered rock salt structure represented by the formula of LizMn1-xMexO2 where 0<Z<=1.2, and 0.05<x<=0.2.
