PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket device for a fluorescent lamp for very simply and easily connecting the fluorescent lamp and the socket. SOLUTION: A conical adapter having an electric conductive piece is fitted into a pin terminal of a fluorescent lamp, which is held and supplied with electric current by a socket connected with the adapter.
