PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify one data file to be taken as the object of stereoscopic display out of plural data files in a stereoscopic picture display system. SOLUTION: A sectional picture generation part 93 reads out three- dimensional picture data from a three-dimensional data storage part 91 to generate plural sectional picture data correspondingly to each position of a moving screen and gives them to a data addition part 96. An index picture generation part 94 generates index picture data from two-dimensional color picture data or distance picture data stored in the three-dimensional data storage part 91 or from symbol pictures registered in a symbol picture DB 95 and gives this generated data to the data addition part 96. The data addition part 96 adds index picture data given from the index picture generation part 94 to plural sectional picture data given from the sectional picture generation part 93 to generate one data file.
