PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical fiber bundle free from deformation due to heating of a sealed tube. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing an optical fiber bundle is such that a sealed tube 20 in which a number of optical fibers 5 are lined up and bundled is stored in a rotary container 21 and that the sealed tube 20 is heated and pressurized while being rotated so that the optical fibers are fused.
