PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of effectively preventing image noise caused accompanying skew adjustment with respect to an image forming device where a surface to be scanned is simultaneously scanned with three or more leaser beams. SOLUTION: Whether a row(L-th row) being an image data writing object is a row in which the image data served for the modulation of any one of four laser diodes is written is judged in an image memory (steps S4, S9 and S11). After storing null data in the top of each row by an amount equivalent to the deviation in a main scanning direction between respetive scanning lines caused accompanying the skew adjustment (steps S5, S10, S12, S13 and S6), one line of image data is written (step S7).
