PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a frequency error caused particularly in a high-speed sweep to perform a more precise waveform display. SOLUTION: A signal to be measured a is converted into an intermediate frequency signal c by a frequency conversion part 4, and the frequency component of a prescribed band width is selectively passed through an RBW filter 10. The signal having passed through the RBW filter 10 is converted into a digital signal at a prescribed sampling frequency in an A/D converter 16. The digital data converted in the A/D converter 16 is stored in each address of a data memory part 17 one by one. In reading the digital data from the data memory part 17, the delay time of the signal up to the A/D converter 16 is calculated on the basis of the time coefficient per point by sampling of the A/D converter 16 and the correction data stored in a correction data memory part 20. The reading start position of the data memory part 17 is calculated from the delay time, and the digital data is read in order from this reading start position.
