PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency and store a large amount in a dry spent fuel storage facility. SOLUTION: A dry storage faclity 30 of spent fuel comprises a storage room 3 where a plurality of storage vessel C sealing spent fuel are put, an air intake path 9 opening in the lower part of one wall of the storage room 3 and a stack type exhaust path 17 formed apart from the air intake path 9 and opening to the other wall of the storage room 3. A low temperature air path 35 extending from the air intake path 9 toward the lower part of the exhaust path 17 is formed in the lower part of the storage room 3.
