<p>A speed reduction gear capable of being used suitably for a focus adjusting mechanism, mirror drive mechanism, and shutter charge of a camera, comprising (1) an arm member installed to a driving shaft rotatably and integrally with the driving shaft extending from a power source, (2) a first rotating member rotated integrally with the arm member and installed on the outer end of the arm member revolvably about a rotating center axis of the arm member and rotatably on the self- rotating center axis along the rotating center axis and having a first outer peripheral surface specified by a first radius about the self-rotating center axis and a second outer peripheral surface specified by a second radius smaller than the first radius, (3) an annular member installed coaxially with a rotating center line of the arm member and having an inner peripheral surface engaging with the second outer peripheral surface of the first rotating member, and (4) a second rotating member installed coaxially with the rotating center line of the arm member, having the inner peripheral surface engaging with the first outer peripheral surface of the first rotating member, and having a driven shaft outputting a rotation reduced in speed below than the rotation of the driving shaft.</p> |
