<p>An electromagnetic field shielding garment (10) easily worn for everyday use by an individual for protecting the individual from environmental electromagnetic fields generated by electronic devices encountered daily, such as high voltage wires, anti-theft devices, electrical appliances, and numerous other sources. The electromagnetic field shielding garment (10) is particularly applicable to individuals having implanted electronic medical devices (16, 18) which may be caused to malfunction in environmental electromagnetic fields. The electromagnetic field shielding garment (10) may also prevent any potential harmful effects of long-term exposure to electromagnetic fields. The electromagnetic field shielding garment (10) may be made from a variety of different fabric structures that are easily worked with to make a variety of garments which are comfortable to wear.</p> |
