PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card transaction device for improving operability while using a magnetic card. SOLUTION: A magnetic card is inserted into the part corresponding to an LED 6 of a magnetic card insertion groove 4a, and moved at a speed indicated by an LED 7 so that the magnetic card can be read, and then a password is inputted by operating an inputting device 3 so that a bank account can be opened. Then, an IC card is inserted into an IC card insertion hole 5a, and the prescribed operation of an inputting device 3 is executed so that communication with a designated bank can be executed, and money can be received and paid in the IC card. This series of operation procedures can be guided with a message and animation on a display screen 2.
