PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone directory retrieving method which enables to move from a waiting state screen to each of retrieval mode by a simple key operation. SOLUTION: In the telephone directory retrieving method, which has plural retrieval modes for retrieving a communicating party registered on a telephone directory and selects any one of the plural retrieval modes corresponding to pressing of a specified key assigned for retrieval mode selection in the communication waiting state, the same key is assigned as the above specified key regardless of the retrieval mode to be selected. |
