PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit voice data from a digital wireless unit to a public communication channel by attaching the voice data to an electronic mail. SOLUTION: The communication unit of this invention applies serial/parallel conversion to the voice data received from the digital wireless phone, converts the serial/parallel data into electronic mail form and transmits the voice data attached to the electronic mail.
