PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the stand-by time of a user by retrieving a link destination conditionally, rather than simply looking ahead a link unconditionally, in order to rapidly execute reading in a WWW browser. SOLUTION: The look-ahead of hyper-text data of a WWW server for display in the WWW browser, etc., is executed in a hyper-link look-ahead system. The system is characterized by providing an address analyzing part for analyzing and extracting an IP address from a hyper-text which a user desires to input and generating an address list, an address comparing part for comparing an address group which are previously stored in a storage means and displayed in page with the address list, a look-ahead address detecting part for erasing the address from the address list in the case of the same address and permitting the address to be the one at a leading side in the address list in the case of the different address and a look-ahead part for performing access to the WWW server in order of list from the selected address list.
