PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image forming method utilizing energy subtraction processing and capable of giving a radiation image showing especially high sensitivity and high fineness and a stimulable phosphor sheet usable of especially advantageously for the method. SOLUTION: A stimulable phosphor sheet 10 comprises stimulable phosphor layers 12a and 12b on both sides of a filter layer 11 capable of absorbing low energy component of radiation and preferably transmitting excited light and capable of absorbing or reflecting the stimulable emission light. The sheet 10 of the stimulable phosphor layers 12 constituted of at least one layer of the stimulable phosphor, an isolation wall 13 (especially one containing stimulable phosphor) finely separating the stimulable phosphor layer along the plane direction and a stimulable phosphor charging region 14 showing different reflection charactaristics from the isolation wall 13 for the excited light is provided. Also a radiation image forming method using the stimulable phosphor sheet 10 and containing energy subtraction processing is provided.
